Service of Remembrance

The comforting Service of Remembrance
will be Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 6:30 pm.

We will be holding our spiritual and meaningful annual Service of Remembrance. We will remember all of the loved ones who have gone before us to be with Jesus. Candle lighting, bells tolled, names read for all loved ones, and beautiful music.

Everyone is invited: family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, especially those who have lost a loved one recently.

We will adhere to the following Covid-19 worship protocol for this service:

  • Everyone will mask. Gloves are optional for worshippers, as hand sanitizer will be plentiful..
  • For Children – Please bring your own coloring book and crayons in a plastic bag.
  • We invite you to join us if you are not sick or have been exposed directly to the virus or are showing signs of virus symptoms.
  • May God’s richest blessings, peace, healing, and protection surround you all!

Jesus the Good Shepherd
11“‘I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 14I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it up again. 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again…'” (John 10:11, 14-18a)
